With the death of my father a month ago, and the chaos going on with work since December, it has been very hard to be creative. Luckily, my father’s passing happened after I finished the collection for my latest project. I recently started to feel a little better, and also I have to start designing the next collection for my project. It hasn’t been easy to get back into the swing of life. I’m doing my best…little by little. I’ve never experienced losing someone, and so this experience is all new to me.

Tonight, instead of working, I decided to do some personal creative work. I’ve been at it for the last four hours, and can’t stop. It feels good to just keep on going.  I ‘d like to share more of this work here. I love seeing my style evolve, and I can see what inspires me has changed so much. I’m quite excited.  My biggest issue is figuring out how to do this more consistently. Do you have any suggestions? Do you make time for it everyday, or just play it by ear? Would love to hear some ideas…
