Last year, my sweet fiancé bought me a few fashion books for Christmas. {I love adding to my library of inspiration}. One of the favorite books I received was a photo diary of the decadent style icon, Anna Sui. The book encompassed some of Anna’s work from the early 90’s to mid-2000.  It was a page burner I could not put down. I loved reading about Anna’s life, style, collections, and learning what inspired her fashion collections over the years.

Scroll down to see some of my favorite pics from her unbelievable collections. In reviewing my picks, I realized that I’m most drawn to her fall and winter collections.

The colors are fantastic! So feminine yet edgy!

This is from Anna’s Autumn/Winter collection from 1995. Interestingly enough, this fall, one of the trends is Pattern pairing. I love the Herringbone and Leopard mix. So simple but cool!

Autumn/Winter 1998- The Nordic influence is magical!
