Alexander Wang always amazes me. Season after season, he kills it!. Check out below a few of their Pre-Fall 13 arrivals. Their patterns and details make their simple designs incredible!

The last on this boot is beautiful. The hidden zipper and removable ankle strap are also fabulous design elements that make this a not so simple design. The removable ankle strap reminded me of my kids idea here.

The Anouk boot has been in his collection for several seasons now. [Need to add this boot to my shoe collection…arrr!!!] I love how this season the pattern was updated by adding a stitch and binding detail on the top line of the boot.

Never really been much fan of a slide, and let alone a pump slide. However, I’m re-considering here. This toe shape is gorgeous, and the cut outs are just a perfect touch!

WTF!!???? Grey heathered sweatshirt leather!!! I love this! I had to double take on their website when I read it was leather. I thought for sure the upper materials was  textile. Love the look, and the pattern is perfect. A nice little transition sandal from summer to fall!

Ok, I’m in love. I wonder to myself if this design may be a little heavy on the foot, but honestly it’s fall and so it works! All the elements on the shoe { low back heel, straps, leather underlay, stitching, heel} make this a perfect open toe pump for fall!

As a shoe designer, I love to look at other designers works. It inspires me to think out of the box and push myself.

What shoe designer details do you covet, and get inspired by?
